UIS Netherlands
UIS Netherlands was founded in November 2023, and is currently represented by six Italian associations in the cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Leiden, Maastricht, and Wageningen. Our mission is to foster the Italian student community abroad and support Italian students by all possible means. Through our extensive network, we will organize entertaining and insightful events, provide help and tips for students in the Netherlands and establish fruitful partnerships with numerous companies and authorities.

Studiare in Olanda - La Guida per Studenti Italiani
Despite the high number of Italian students in the Netherlands, many arrive without a clear idea of what it entails to live and study in the Netherlands. Numerous useful pieces of information, both before departure and in everyday life, are not immediately available. From this need arises the “Guida” project. The goal is to present the experiences of Italian students in the Netherlands, in the hope that future students interested in undertaking this type of journey will find them useful, both for orienting themselves in their studies and for dealing with the practical aspects of daily life.
This “Guida” was created by several young men and women in five major universities in the Netherlands. Some are part of the management group of UIS Netherlands, others are from the groups of the individual city associations, and still others, who are not part of any association, have participated independently in this project. The Guida is available for free to any Italian student who is looking to start an academic journey in the Netherlands!
